Time for Tea!

Teacup Designs

There's nothing like a hot cup of tea in a beautiful teacup, especially when served with a slice of cake...  With that in mind I have developed some of my favourite design obsessions, such as foxes, retro patterns and quirky jazz inspired skylines and hand painted them on to a range of teacups and saucers.  All of the teacups are dishwasher proof and include porcelain and bone china designs.  At present you can buy these at the Arts Hub 47 on Lark Lane Liverpool L17 or direct from me.  They make wonderful bespoke gifts and I am available for commissions if you have a particular design or function in mind.

Porcelain Foxy Teacup £15.00

Porcelain Blue Reindeer Teacup £15.00

The teacups are dishwasher safe and would brighten up any afternoon tea party.  They make fantastic gifts and at £15.00 for the porcelain designs and £12.00 for the retro 70's style, you will be owning a complete original.  More pics to follow....

Landscape - Vice Chancellor's Lodge Liverpool University 15.10.2012

TAG presents Landscape an exhibition focusing on our local landscape and our relationship to it.  The exhibition previews on the 15th October 2012 and I have one painting in it called, 'Neston Looking Across to Wales'.  I really enjoyed the theme as I grew up on the Wirral and often walk my dog along the edge of the River Dee.

'Rapunzel - Be careful what you wish for'

Hi just to let you know about TAG's, (Toxteth Art Group's), exhibition 'Love or Nothing' at The Florrie, Liverpool from October 10th to 21st 2012.   As part of this collective I have a painting in the exhibition titles'Rapunzel - Be careful what you wish for', which explores the ideas of romance and expectations and puts a twist on the traditional fairytale idea of the damsel in distress being rescued by the knight in shining armour!  The painting is mixed media - ink, gouache and chalk pastel.  The preview was a big success, with over 250 people crossing the threshold to view TAG's work.
